Swans @ Play
Our Breakfast and After-School provision, exclusively for pupils at St Hugh’s Catholic Primary School
Our provision is led and managed strategically by our Governing Board alongside the school leadership team ensuring a seamless wrap-around care experience for your child. We look forward to welcoming your child into our care.
We offer a wide-range of both indoor and outdoor activities and have recently invested heavily to ensure that all ages are catered for. In addition, we provide support to working parents by providing a homework club as well as access to a brand new ICT suite to help support your child’s learning beyond the school day.
All staff are directly employed by the Governing Board. We invest heavily in staff training to ensure the best provision possible. Two fully-qualified managers, Debbie and Sue, oversee the running of our provision. From September, leadership will be further strengthened following the appointment of a qualified teacher, Mrs Rawlings, who has worked at St Hugh’s for over twenty years and will join the team as a full-time deputy manager. A number of playleaders further support the supervision of our children as well as planning for and providing a wide-range of activities. All staff receive appropriate safeguarding, first aid and food hygiene training.
All staff are fully DBS checked and follow school safeguarding policies and procedures. At the beginning and end of the school day children are escorted to their class. Your child will be well looked after.
