Storytime with Nick
Read, Write Inc are launching ‘Storytime with Nick’ on Monday 20th April and will post3 videos per week on their YouTube channel of actor Nick Cannon . It’s ideal for Nursery, Reception and KS1 children. Stories by the following authors Jeanne Willis, Tom Percival, Jill Murphy, Cressida Owen and Claire Freedman will be available soon.

All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet. Explore the collection, select a title and start listening.
As a parent/guardian, you can sign up for free to the Oxford website and will gain access to their full eBook library (which has over 100 eBooks). These books can be used alongside any other reading books the children may have at home. More information regarding the use of this website can be found here.
The above link will take you to the Pobble 365 website. There will be a picture on the homepage each day as a stimulus for writing. There are questions underneath about the picture to get creativity flowing and a suggested genre of writing for children to do. All past pictures are available from the calendar under 'Pick a day'.
This website is free to use without registering and has a wide variety of videos which can be used as a writing stimulus. Each video has suggested writing activities for your child to complete based on the video as well as discussion points about the films.
